Social Sculpture: Tues 9th - Sat 13th Feb 'TRANSITION 9', The Exchange, Penzance, Cornwall. In Collaboration with Bryony Gillard: Examining the relationship between art and social function, Daniels and Gillard will produce and present a series of social sculptures to be used and explored at a set time each day by a different social group of people The gallery space will function as a dynamic working studio where the artists will create one ‘social-sculpture’ per day. At 3.30pm each day the social sculpture must be ‘completed’ and the artwork will then become an arena for interaction. All sessions will be open for the public interaction, and a list of the groups involved will be issued prior to the event. |
