28th - 30th May 2009:
'U:1 Unlocked', Plymouth Arts Centre.

This show included work by 9 visiting artists, with live music by Will McNicol.

Ben Langwothy conducted his live drawing project The Intruders through the course of the evening. Drawing a weed in stages of growth from a crack, he placed his tiny drawings on the walls of the exhibition space. This proved to be a really subtle piece but very rewarding to observe once people began to notice them appearing.

Jon Lilly conducted a live painting in the court yard entrance to the show.

U:1 provided a participatory drawing installation. Our guests were invited to draw individual sections of an electrical circuit diagram that connected a 'battery' to a U:1 sign. Once the elaborate circuit was complete the U:1 sign became illuminated from within.

23rd - 25th April 2009:
'U:1 Unlocked', Plymouth Arts Centre.

- The first of two shows at Plymouth Arts Centre. With new talent on the U:1 team, we hosted our most successfull, buzzing, vibrant and exciting show to date.

Featuring work by U:1 artists and visiting artists, Carl Johnston, Dominique Mitchell, Jessica Hartridge and Ben Langworthy; the private view boasted live music, poetry and live/interactive art.

For this show I built a special interactive print workshop, called 'Print By Numbers,' I invited guests to make simple, self service, prints that will contribute to future works.

Watch out for the 2nd 'Unlocked' event at the end of May!! Also at Plymouth Arts Centre.

13th Dec 2008:
U:1 Studios '2nd Saturday' Event;
Peverall, Plymouth.

I exhibited the completed 'Parallel Drawings' made by visitors at the November event.

8th Nov 2008:
U:1 Studios '2nd Saturday' Event;
Peverall, Plymouth.

- This was my first show as a U:1 Studios member. This show featured the work of, fellow U:1 artists; David Gilroy, Eve Woodbridge, Perry (Sue) and Jon Lilly, aswell as several guest artists.

For this event I created my 'Parallel Drawing' Installation and introduced visitors to my work via an interactive DVD of my portfolio.
